An important part of The Hansel Foundation’s mission is to not just help save pit bull-type dogs, but also help prevent their suffering and shelter overpopulation to begin with. Because of that, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve just given Los Angeles-based A Purposeful Rescue a grant intended to be used specifically for spay/neuter and vaccine vouchers for pit bull-type dogs.
